Billecart-Salmon Vintage 2016 is a very dry champagne with a dosage of only 1.9 grams/liter. This brut white blend Champagne differs from the 2013 vintage as it consists of 66% pinot noir and 34% chardonnay grapes. It was vinified in steel tanks. Unlike it's predecessor, it was produced with 100% grand cru grapes.
Nose: "It has a deliciously fruity intensity with elegant notes of nuts and stone fruits (greengage and crunchy cherries). There are exquisite notes of baked goods (crepe dough and puffed cereals)."
Palate: "It is a charming mouthfeel with notes of fresh pineapple and sudachi zest, amplified by a creamy and delicate texture. It has a persistent finish with a chiseled structure."
