Louis Roederer's Cristal Vinotheque Rose' 2000 is a brut rose' Champagne consisting of 56% pinot noir and 44% chardonnay, 20% vinified in oak.
Nose: It has intense scents of raspberry, hazelnut, stone fruit liqueurs and sweet cocoa powder. The expression of the pinot noir is clear, bright and incredibly fresh.
Palate: The rich, creamy palate is fresh yet concentrated and reveals tart notes of raspberry combined with blackcurrant and citrus fruit (Sicilian orange). The texture is velvety smooth with fascinating, liqueur-like concentration on the mid-palate which gives way to a chalky, saline freshness from the magnificent white soils in which the Cristal Rosé is born. The finish is pure, ethereal and mouth-watering.
