Bollinger RD 2008 is a low dosage brut white blend Champagne. It is assembled with 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay. The fermentation is entirely in oak barrels.
Nose: "The fragrance consists of enticing aromas of marzipan, stewed apricots, honey and breadcrumbs accompanied by fresh notes of bergamot."
Palate: "The taste is a rich, precise mousse. Citrus notes are followed by flavors of Mirabelle plums and vine peaches. A very vivacious wine which unfolds to reveal exceptional complexity. Notes of fresh hazelnuts and salinity combine to create an intense, everlasting finish."
