KRUG GRANDE CUVEE 169 CHARACTERISTICS

Krug Grande Cuvee 169 is a multi-vintage brut white blend Champagne consisting of 43% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay, and 22% meunier grapes. The 169 edition was composed around the 2013 harvest. In all, reserve wines made up 40% of the final blend.

PRODUCER TASTING NOTES

Nose: Aromas are of flowers in bloom, ripe, dried and citrus fruits, as well as marzipan and gingerbread.

Palate: Flavors are of almond paste, quince, lemon, limoncello and dried fruit.
